At a special Endorsement Meeting on July 21, 2025, Easton Democrats unanimously endorsed incumbent Selectman Nick D'Addario for first selectman and Library Board Treasurer and local business own Adrienne Burke for selectman for the coming municipal elections.
Before the vote, First Selectman David Bindelglass shared his strong support the ticket: “I can’t think of a better team than Nick D’Addario and Adrienne Burke to continue the work we’ve done to make local government more effective. They both bring such strong dedication to preserving what’s so special about Easton,” said Bindelglass. “Both have a strong track record of fiscal responsibility and an appreciation for bipartisanship, which can help protect Easton from the toxic partisan battles that have ravaged so many other small towns.”

Nick was born in Bridgeport and raised in neighboring Fairfield. A graduate of The George Washington University and Vermont Law School, D’Addario is President of Hi-Ho Energy Services–a fourth generation family owned and operated local heating and HVAC company. He lives in Easton with his wife, Caroline, and his four-year-old son, Fritz. Prior to his election to Easton’s Board of Selectmen, he served on the Planning and Zoning Commission. Nick also serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for the Child and Family Guidance Center (Bridgeport), a member of the Board of Directors of The Barnum Festival (Bridgeport), and a member of the Board of Directors of the Cardinal Shehan Center (Bridgeport). He is also the former Chair and member of the Board of Directors for the Klein Memorial Auditorium (Bridgeport).

Accepting the Easton Democrats' unanimous endorsement, Nick said, “I’ll continue the work I’ve done with Dave Bindelglass to deliver on the promises we made while ensuring everyone in town has a voice. We’ve held the line on taxes without major cuts to services or schools, ensured the preservation of open spaces and farms, and secured millions in state funding for the EMS project. With the potential for an economic downturn looming, I’m committed to effective town government that works for us all. I am thrilled to be running with Adrienne. Her work at Greiser’s is an excellent example of preserving everything that makes Easton unique while planning for our future.”

A 15-year Easton resident, Adrienne Burke is the owner of Greiser’s Coffee & Market, where she has employed more than twenty Easton and Redding residents. Under her conservative management as Library Board Treasurer, the Library Board of Trustees’ investments have grown significantly. Prior to opening Greiser’s, she spent 25 years as a business, technology, and science journalist and magazine editor. She has won three Annual Connecticut Press Club first prizes and was honored in 2024 with the first Robert Lessler Citizenship Award for outstanding service to the Town of Easton. Adrienne is a graduate of Boston College and lives in Easton with her husband Jeff Foster and their Australian Cattle Dogs Sturgill and Maybelle.
Upon unanimous endorsement by the DTC, Adrienne said, “I’m proud to join Nick on the Democratic ticket in my run for Selectman. Running a thriving business in Easton, I’ve proven I know how to balance a budget, work well with town boards and commissions, and step up in times of need for the community. Over the last 7 years I’ve created a gathering place that unites neighbors with diverse points of view, and I hope to extend that spirit of leadership, collaboration, open communication, and optimism to the Board of Selectmen to serve the town we all love. I believe our citizens can transcend partisanship to preserve all that we value in our town while ensuring a better future for everyone.”
