John Foley is Chair of Easton’s Planning and Zoning Commission and Executive Vice President of First Service Project Management, a firm specializing in residential and capital improvement projects across the Northeast. Originally from Ireland, he studied at Cork Regional Technical College before moving to the United States. John lives in Easton with his wife Trisha and their three children. In addition to his work on Planning and Zoning, he serves on Easton’s EMS Committee and is President of the Ireland’s Great Hunger Museum of Fairfield, reflecting his commitment to preservation and community service.

Chris Calvert has served as Easton’s Finance Director and Treasurer for many years, after previously working as the town’s Tax Collector. A graduate of Hofstra University, she went on to earn dual master’s degrees in Finance and Accounting from Adelphi University. Chris and her husband Shannon have lived in Easton for 27 years, raising their three children here. In addition to her professional service to the town, she has been an active volunteer with the PTO, ELF, Easton Fireman’s Carnival, and Girl Scouts.

Jill Madeo is Senior Business Development Manager at BakerHostetler, where she leads strategic growth initiatives for the firm’s legal practices. She began her career in nonprofit development at organizations including Housing Works, the Coalition for the Homeless, and New York City Opera. While working full-time, Jill earned her law degree at night and practiced as a litigator at a mid-sized firm in New York City before moving into legal marketing. Her professional background blends law, advocacy, and communications, experience she brings to her work in education and civic life.

Jessica Zannetti is Principal of Sound Waters Intelligence, a private investigations firm in Southport, and serves on the Easton Board of Education. Raised in neighboring Westport, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Delaware and a master’s in Forensic Science from the University of New Haven. Jessica has been active in Easton as PTO president and as a parent in the school system, where her three children attend Joel Barlow High School, Helen Keller Middle School, and Samuel Staples Elementary. She and her husband Joe have lived in town for 11 years.

Carolyn Oppenheim has lived in Easton since 2009 and is the Catering Manager at The Pantry in Fairfield. She previously worked with the Weston Volunteer Fire Department through the COVID-19 pandemic, managing administrative and operational support. Carolyn has also held leadership roles at New Academy Preschool, serving as President, Treasurer, and Board Member, and has a professional background in hospitality and event planning. A graduate of Dickinson College with a degree in Theatre and English, she remains active in community and education advocacy.

Leny Wallen-Friedman brings decades of legal and school board experience to his candidacy for the Region 9 Board of Education. Before moving to Easton three years ago, he practiced law for more than 30 years in Minnesota and four in Connecticut. In Minnesota, he spent over a decade on his local school board, including four years as chair, overseeing a district of 8,000 students and a $100 million budget. He has also volunteered in youth sports, Cub Scouts, and school finance committees. Leny and his wife of 41 years raised three children, all graduates of public schools.

Lise Fleuette is a writer and editor who has lived in Easton for many years. She currently serves as an Alternate on the Library Board of Trustees and is also a member of the Easton Energy & Environment Task Force and the Easton Board of Assessment Appeals. In addition to her professional work, Lise has a long record of volunteer service in the schools her children attended and in civic and youth sports organizations. She previously served on the board of the Daland Memorial Library in Mont Vernon, NH. She lives in Easton with her family and their German Shepherd, Sadie.

Kristine Oulman is Head of Youth Services at the Trumbull Library and an Alternate on the Easton Library Board of Trustees. She holds a Master of Library and Information Science from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Science from Southern Connecticut State University. Kristine and her husband raised three children in Easton, where the family were frequent visitors to the town library. Those experiences inspired her second career as a librarian, and she remains a strong advocate for literacy, libraries, and intellectual freedom.

Wiley Mullins has lived in Easton for 25 years and is the founder and president of Uncle Wiley’s Specialty Foods, a Fairfield-based company whose “Healthy Southern Classics” seasonings are sold in supermarkets nationwide. A graduate of the University of Alabama, the University of Virginia, and Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, Wiley began his career in marketing at Procter & Gamble before launching his own business. He has been recognized with numerous awards for entrepreneurship and community service and remains active on nonprofit boards supporting youth, education, and local development.

Stephanie Christie has called Easton home for more than a decade. Originally from southern Ohio, she grew up as a competitive swimmer before attending college in Boston and then moving to New York City, where she built a career in the jewelry and luxury goods industry. There she met her husband before relocating to Easton to raise their family. Stephanie values the way Easton combines small-town character with natural beauty, and she brings creativity, discipline, and an appreciation for community to her service on the Zoning Board of Appeals.

A resident of Easton for nine years, Tracy Carlucci is originally from Fairfield. She and her husband founded the Fairfield School of Music in 2012 and today oversee a faculty of more than 20 instructors providing private lessons to children and adults. They also operate Tēla Bus, a vintage Volkswagen bus converted into an open-air photo booth. A pianist by training, Tracy has been the music director at Christ Church Easton since 2007 and helps organize the Concerts on the Hill series. She is a founding member of Easton Pride and currently serves as Secretary of the Easton Democratic Town Committee.

Since moving to Easton in 1994, David Katz has been deeply involved in local government and community life. He chairs the Easton Board of Fire Commissioners, where he also serves as Secretary, and has been elected as a Constable for the past eight years. David has long combined civic service with leadership in local organizations, including the Historical Society of Easton, Easton Little League, AYSO youth soccer, and the Easton Racquet Club, where he was president for four years. He and his wife raised their two children in Easton, both graduates of the Easton/Region 9 school system.

Raymond Martin is serving his second term as an elected Constable and has lived in Easton his entire life. A graduate of Samuel Staples Elementary and Helen Keller Middle School, he recently earned a degree in history and political science from Fairfield University and is now pursuing a master’s in history at Southern Connecticut State University. Raymond hopes to build a career as a professional historian while continuing to contribute to his hometown. His commitment to public service is grounded in a lifelong connection to Easton and pride in its community.

The second-generation owner of Silverman’s Farm, Irv Silverman has deep roots in Easton. He has been a member of the Easton Volunteer Fire Company for over 50 years and is a charter member of the Easton Lions Club. Irv also serves on the Agriculture Commission and has been elected as a town Constable. Known for his dedication to preserving farmland and open space, he works to safeguard both Easton’s agricultural heritage and its residential neighborhoods.
